SUSTAINABILITY

According to the fashion on climate report conducted by McKinsey and global, if no further action is taken over the next decade beyond measures already in place, the industry’s GHG (green-house gases) emissions will likely rise to around 2.7 billion tonnes a year by 2030

It is important to provide a valuable alternative to fast fashion and imperative that the shift happens sooner than later

We have outlined our approach below on how we can continue to enjoy fashion and also make a positive impact

Our Production

Prioritize quality over quantity by creating long lasting pieces, which are fully lined to increase the life of the product

All garments are made to order, different production times will be noted depending on the outfit

Nothing will be mass produced in an effort to reduce waste

Everything is handcrafted in-house

Our fabric printing is done in the UK in order to reduce carbon emissions

Our Materials

We use 100% recycled polyester (rPET) thread only

All fabrics will be sustainable such as organic, biodegradable, or recycled fabrics which would have otherwise added to our landfills

This includes organic cotton, bamboo silks and jerseys, lyocell and tencel fabrics or recycled polyesters

All our fabrics are vegan

Our Packaging

We avoid the use of plastic packaging all together

Our boxes are 40% recycled boxboard and fully recyclable (once removing the ribbon and magnet). They are also durable and rigid so are worth keeping to re-use

Our tissue paper is made from 100% recycled materials and is recyclable, biodegradable & compostable

Parcel paper is made from 100% recycled materials and is recyclable

OUR ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITY

We will champion and raise awareness to other smaller businesses within the UK

Our practices will be ethical as well as the businesses we buy from, there will be no compromises

No fur or animal products will be used

Our garments will be made in the UK as opposed to outsourcing production abroad at lower wage rates
